I immigrated from England as a child. I grew up in Toronto and was educated there and at the University of Western Ontario in London.

I spent 15 years working for Citizenship & Immigration Canada, the last six as an Immigration Officer.

My experiences there convinced me that prospective immigrants needed advocacy. I started my own company in 1986.

Julie and I have been working together since 1987. I live in Toronto and have adult children.

I am from Canada's smallest island province, Prince Edward Island. I was educated there and at the University of Toronto.

Before joining Peter Carpenter in the immigration consulting business I had a long career in social work at both the Provincial and City levels of government.
